I. Lý thuyết câu bị động động từ khuyết thiếu

1. Công thức chung

Active: S + can/will/have to… + V1 + O

→ Passive: S’ + can/will/have to… + be V3,ed (+ by O’)

Active: S + can/will… +have V3,ed + O

→ Passive: S’ + can/will… +have been V3,ed (+ by O’)

NOTE:

– Không dùng: by them/people/someone/no one/me/you/him/her/it/us

– nơi chốn + by O + thời gian

2. Cấu trúc câu bị động của một số động từ khuyết thiếu cụ thể

– Can/ Could: có thể.

Can + V → Can + be + V3/V-ed.

Could + V → Could + be + V3/V-ed.

I can’t see the words on the board → The words on the board can’t be seen.

(Tôi không thể nhìn thấy chữ trên bảng → Chữ trên bảng không thể được nhìn thấy).

She could make a cake yesterday → A cake could be made yesterday (by her).

(Hôm qua cô ấy đã có thể làm bánh → Bánh được làm ngày hôm qua bởi cô ấy).

– May/Might: có thể.

May + V → May + be + V3/V-ed.

Might + V → Might + be + V3/V-ed.

They may announce this news soon → This news may be announced soon.

(Họ có thể thông báo tin tức sớm → Tin tức sẽ được thông báo sớm).

– Should/Ought to: nên.

Should + V → Should + be + V3/V-ed.

Ought to + V → Ought to + be + V3/V-ed.

You should repair your car → Your car should be repaired.

(Bạn nên sửa chữa ôtô của bạn → Ôtô của bạn nên được sửa chữa).

Henry ought to leave a message on my table → A message ought to be left a message on my table.

(Henry nên để lại tin nhắn trên bàn của tôi → Tin nhắn của Henry nên được để lại trên bàn của tôi).

– Must/Have to: phải.

Must + V → Must + be + V3/V-ed.

Have to + V → Have to + be + V3/V-ed.

You must wear the helmet → The helmet must be worn.

(Bạn phải đội nón bảo hiểm → Nón bảo hiểm phải được đội).

You have to finish your work by noon→ Your work has to be finished by noon.

(Bạn phải hoàn thành công việc trước buổi trưa → Công việc phải được hoàn thành trước buổi trưa).

– Will/Be going to: sẽ

Will + V → Will + be + V3/V-ed.

Be going to +V → Be going to + be + V3/V-ed.

They will hold a party next to a pool → A party will be held next to a pool.

(Họ sẽ tổ chức một bữa tiệc cạnh hồ bơi → Một bữa tiệc sẽ được tổ chức cạnh hồ bơi).
